Masterboard Monday

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a new Masterboard:

The papers were from a magazine which I ripped up and arranged onto paper then added stamping, ink splatters and stencilling.

I've cut this out to make bookmarks.

Added some butterflies, Stickles Glitter Glue and tassels. They are going to make lovely gifts.

Hope you like them.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.
Another busy week here, hubby was back from his meetings on Sunday then we fetched the dogs back from the kennels on Monday and off to the supermarket.

Alfie soon made himself comfy again at the bottom of the stairs.
He likes it there as the sun shines in through the front door and onto the stairs, as soon as it goes away so does he.
He's giving me that look because I woke him up when he was enjoying a nap in the sun, he doesn't look impressed either.

Tuesday went for the car, she is looking a bit sad at the moment but the old girl will look better when she's been to the body shop for her paint job and in the afternoon it was felting club.

The guys in the background are hubby and Paul the welder.
Hubby's the bald one with the short beard and Paul the welder is the one with the long beard. He is amazing. It was these two who rebuilt the car about twenty five years ago and Paul is the only one that I trust to work on her.

Not bad for a 1972 car, she was about six years old when we got her so she's definitely a family memeber.

Wednesday is WOYWW so spent some time visiting the blogs to see what everyone was up to and then went to see our friends for a catch up.

Thursday needed to get my bags ready for the Craft club on Saturday, one of the other ladies is doing the class this month so needed to make sure I have everything I need to join in.
Oh and my laptop decided to play up but it's sorted now.

Friday is housework day as I would normally do that on Saturday but hate having to do it when I get back from the craft club so try to get it done Friday if I can but don't worry I'll get round to see all of you first.

I'm off to get the stitches removed from my arm on Monday so fingers crossed that goes okay.
Look away now if you don't want to see the stitches.

The flowers in the garden are starting to show their faces.

The purple one is pretty but no idea what it is.

The Camillia are starting to flower too.

Better go now so I'll finish with a funny.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW -825 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit
Sarah's Craft Shed and our host Sarah will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I was a bit busy last week and the beginning of this week too so not a lot going on craft wise but I am working on a new fold card for a class at the Craft Club in a month or so.
When it's something new I like to get some practice in as I will need to write the instructions too.

It's a type of Z fold. I'll let you see it better when I have perfected it.
I am still working on old stuff that's been hanging around and one of my bugbears are double sided papers and card as I find it difficult to waste one side so working on a way that you still see both sides.

Oh and I have got some new stuff which of course I don't need but got them anyway!

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww

and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

Used two of these Matstack pages which I ripped up and arranges on some fairly heavy weight paper.

Back again with this as you may have seen it here:

Then added stamping, Washi tape, embossing paste through a stencil and some splatters.

I am making something special with this which you will get to see soon but had a few pieces left which I used to make two cards.

I used some bookmark dies to cut three pieces for each card with matching colours.

Then attached these to a coloured card blank.

To finish them off I added some die cut flowers that had been sitting around for ages and some sentiment tags.

These are quite busy designs.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week though I don't have many photographs to show you.
  • It's been a busy week here as I went to the hospital on Sunday to have a small lump on my arm removed ( I'm sure you don't want to see that!) and later that evening a very large filling dropped out from one of my teeth, I can't believe it.
  • Monday I had to book an emergency appointment to go to the dentist.
  • Tuesday went and got the filling replaced and then off to see about some work that needs doing on my car.
  • Took her over there in the afternoon. You cannot have a car that's 53 years old and not expect she may need a little touching up occasionally. It's a bit of welding needed and then went and booked her in for the paint spraying ready for when the welding's finished. It's only Tuesday and I'm shattered already Lol!
  • Tuesday was the Felting Club in the evening and we made some 'Winter Chanterelle'

These are the real thing...

and these are samples that were made.

Wednesday we took the dogs for their haircut and Alfie was definitely ready. He looked like a woolly bear.

The lady who cuts their hair has been away and it's surprising how an extra week or so turns him into a shaggy dog. He can't even see properly though he still knows where to find the dinner.
Daisy's coat is different so she doesn't go woolly.

Here we are fetching them home but they don't look that pleased. Alfie likes going to the trimmer as she has a beautiful golden labradoodle girl dog called Dora and Alfie really likes her.

Thursday we took the dogs to the kennels as hubby is going away for a few days. He's getting ready for the school Art exams as he checks the teachers marks.
The GCSE exams may seem a while away but the exam boards start now to get ready for the visits they have to do as the Art exams are marked before the written exams.
This means I will have a long peaceful weekend to do my own thing and I can tell you I'm ready for it!

Started off by having a good clean round as he left but there's always more that could be done....think that's enough of that!

  • And so to Friday, I'm sure I'll  find something to keep me busy after I've had a good rest Lol!

Wishing you a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit
Sarah's Craft Shed and our host Sarah will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I'm die cutting some Masterboards here.

Which looked like this .....

Made with free papers from a magazine and the addition of stamping, ink splashes and stencilling.

I'm using this mat book to create the next Masterboard.

But you will have to wait to see what it's used for.

I also used the Mats to create the collage grids below.

There are more details here if you're interested.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
